Health & Welfare Plan
Your new benefits begin September 1, 2021. You are covered under the Oregon-Washington Carpenters-Employers Health and Welfare Plan through August 31, 2021, provided you remain eligible.
401(k) Plan
Your 401(k) plan is merging with the Carpenters of Western Washington Individual Account Pension Plan. Milliman will continue as the plan's record keeper. Your account balance, investment elections, and 401(k) election amount will be transferred on July 30, 2021. You'll be able to access investments and make changes when the blackout period ends the week of August 6, 2021.
Defined Benefit Plan
Benefits and accruals under your Oregon-Washington Carpenters-Employers Pension Plan will not be changed. Going forward, benefits earned from hours worked on and after July 1, 2021 will accrue on the same basis under the merged plan.
Vacation Plan
Please continue using Qualstar Credit Union to access your vacation contributions. Carpenters Trusts of Western Washington will continue forwarding your contributions to Qualstar for hours worked on and after July 1, 2021.
