Summary Plan Description
Enrollment
To enroll in this plan, you must complete an Enrollment Form and return it to the Trust Office. To enroll with Qualstar Credit Union, you must complete a Membership Card and return it to Qualstar. Once you are enrolled with Qualstar, Qualstar will send you a new member packet which includes information about your new account as well as information about other products and services available from Qualstar. A new Check Card is also included for easy access to your account at automatic teller machines (ATM).
Key Point
If you temporarily work in another jurisdiction under Money Follows the Carpenter, your vacation contributions (if applicable) are not part of this plan. Please contact the Cooperating Trust for information about your vacation contributions when working in their jurisdiction.
If you choose not to enroll with Qualstar, the Trust Office will electronically transfer your contributions to a temporary account at Qualstar. At your request (by telephone or in writing), Qualstar will promptly return your contributions to you. No dividends are paid on these temporary deposits.
