A Career With the United Brotherhood of Carpenters

Just about everywhere you look you'll see a project built by union carpenters. High-profile projects include Safeco Field, Seahawks Stadium, the Columbia Tower, Benaroya Hall, the I-90 Floating Bridge, and the many dams in Western and Central Washington. But many other union building projects make up the day-to-day infrastructure of our lives - the public schools and colleges where we learn, office buildings and stores where we work and shop, the libraries, museums and theatres that entertain us, hospitals and clinics where our illnesses are treated, and the roads and bridges that reliably get us where we're going. These projects - coordinated with architects, engineers and up to 20 different building trades - represent some of the most complex and rewarding work available. How many professional workers can point to one of these impressive projects and say, "I helped build that!"
