Summary Plan Description
Introduction
You participate in this plan if you work for an employer signatory to a collective bargaining agreement recognized by the Board of Trustees, and the agreement requires contributions to this plan on your behalf. You also participate in this plan if you hold a position with a union or employer who is signatory to a written contribution agreement recognized by the Board of Trustees, and the agreement requires contributions to this plan on your behalf. You remain a participant in this plan unless you incur a permanent break in service (please see Breaks In Service and Termination).

Key Point
Signatory employers are required to make an hourly contribution to this plan for each compensable hour. These hourly contributions are part of a negotiated fringe benefit package and are not deducted from your hourly wage.
