Purchasing An Individual Life Insurance Policy
If you or your dependents lose eligibility for life insurance, you can purchase an individual policy from the insurance company. No medical exam or other proof of insurability is required as long as you submit your application and pay the premium within 31 days after group coverage ends. Please contact the life insurance carrier. The name and address are on page 163.
If you or a dependent dies within 31 days after life insurance coverage ends, this plan's benefits are paid to the beneficiary.
