Prescription Drug Benefits

Summary

Prescription drugs are available through two prescription drug programs. One program allows you to purchase prescription drugs from a large, nationwide network of retail pharmacies. The other program allows you to purchase prescription drugs through the mail. There is a single copayment for each prescription or refill. Prescription drug purchases are not subject to the plan's annual deductible or coinsurance but are subject to the plan's $750,000 annual maximum. When you or a dependent are eligible for Medicare, you are automatically enrolled in the Medco Medicare Prescription Plan. This program is the Retiree Health Plan's Medicare Part D prescription benefits. These benefits are essentially the same as the prescription benefits for retirees and dependents without Medicare.
