Life Insurance Benefits For Dependents

If a dependent is eligible under this plan and dies from any cause whatsoever, the retiree receives a benefit based on the following schedule. The retiree is always the beneficiary of the dependent’s life insurance:

• Spouse - $1,000
• Dependent Children - $1,000

Dependent children include children who are 18 years of age or younger, or age 23 or younger if a full-time student.
