Introduction
The Retiree Health Plan provides life insurance protection for you (the retiree) and your dependents. This protection is funded, in part, by monthly contributions to this plan and is administered and paid under a separate insurance contract from an insurance company authorized to do business in the State of Washington.
Life insurance benefits are not available to your dependents if they have COBRA Continuation Coverage.
If you or your dependent is enrolled in the SecureHorizons Medicare Advantage Plan, the benefits described in "Life Insurance Benefits" are the only benefits available under the Retiree Health Plan.
