Preferred providers have contractually agreed to bill and receive payment directly from the Trust Office. To ensure that the appropriate discounts are applied to services and supplies received, do not pay a preferred provider until the plan has processed the claim. Preferred providers may, however, collect any applicable deductible, coinsurance or noncovered charge.
