Individual Account Pension Plan
Restated as of November 1, 2004
Effective June 1, 1981, the Trustees adopted the Carpenters of Western Washington Individual Account Pension Plan for the exclusive benefit of eligible Employees and their beneficiaries. The Plan is intended to meet the requirements of Section 401(a) of the Internal Revenue Code, as amended, and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974.
The Plan was Restated and Amended as of January 1, 1986, to meet the requirements of the Retirement Equity Act of 1984, and to the extent applicable, the Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act (TEFRA) and the Deficit Reduction Act of 1984.
The Plan was restated and amended as of January 1, 1989 and January 1, 1991 to meet the requirements of the Tax Reform Act of 1986 and add amendments adopted by the Board of Trustees. The Plan was restated as of January 1, 1994 to add amendments adopted by the Board of Trustees.
The Plan was restated effective January 1, 1999 to provide Supplemental Subaccounts and to add amendments adopted by the Board of Trustees.
The Plan was restated effective November 1, 2004 to add amendments adopted by the Board of Trustees.
