Introduction
The Carpenters Health and
Security Plan of Western Washington – For Employed Carpenters (also
referred to as the “Employed Plan” or “plan”) is funded
by hourly contributions called for under collective bargaining. An employer
signatory to a collective bargaining agreement recognized by the Board of
Trustees is required to pay an hourly contribution to this plan for each
compensable hour you (the participant) work. It is, however, your responsibility
to make certain the appropriate contributions were made to this plan on your
behalf. We encourage you to compare the hours you worked (as noted on your
personal work records such as your paycheck stubs) with the hours reported to
the Trust Office as indicated on your
Quarterly Benefit
Statement.
If you find a discrepancy, please contact Employer Accounting at the Trust
Office as soon as possible. Errors
must
be reported to Employer Accounting within
60 days of the
Quarterly Benefit
Statement date.
See Eligibility Chart.
