Annual Deductible

The $200 annual deductible is the amount of covered medical expenses each individual incurs each calendar year before the plan pays benefits. If an individual incurs expenses in the last three months of a calendar year and those expenses are applied toward the individual’s annual deductible, those expenses will also apply against the individual’s annual deductible for the next year. This is known as the deductible “carryover.”
